You may turn your nose up at dandelion in your yard, however this BEAUTIFUL herb cures premenstrual symptoms, aids in weight loss, regulates blood pressure, aids in heart health, boosts youre immunity against cancer DIS-ease, prevents cell damage, prevents the fungus in the body that causes yeast infections & odors from the vagina, simulates youre body’s bile to flow, cleansing your organs freeing you from toxins built up in your colon, intestines, kidney & prevent gallstones. Dandelion also regulates your blood sugar, aids in managing diabetes, is an anti-inflammatory.

Dandelion is also high in POTASSIUM, which means less of those middle of the night Charlie Horses!

Don’t sleep on DANDELION! Do your research first, before taking or go see an herbalist in your area!

I drink dandelion tea and dandelion greens in a salad with coconut spiced dressing w/radishes, beans & celery!

Dandelion tea:

1 tbl dried dandelion
8 oz water

Steeping for ten minutes

I usually drink three cups daily, before menstrual & during!

For my salad:

1c dandelion greens
1 c spinach
1 c strawberries
1/2 c radishes, diced
1 c green beans, cut in half
1 stalk celery, sliced lengthwise

Toss all in bowl, set aside

Coconut spiced dressing:

1 tsp chinese five spice
1 c coconut cream
3 tbl sesame oil
1 tbl sesame seeds
1 tsp maple syrup
1/2 tsp chile powder (dry chiles)
2 tbl orange vinegar
1 orange juiced

Whisk all ingredients together, except sesame seeds  drizzle 1/4 c over salad, sprinkle sesame seeds!
