Celebrate fall with apple butter! 11 gala apples 1/4 c. Dates, pureed 1 tsp lime juice 1 tsp cinnamon 1/2 tsp allspice 1/4 tsp ginger Clean & slice apples, add to large pot, cook until mushy, about 45 minutes. I cover mine. Pour apples through sieve or colander if you don’t have a sieve. Pour apple mixture back into pot. Add other ingredients, stir Simmer for 30-40 minutes, stirring every ten-fifteen minutes. Remove and let cool The raw version, which is my FAVORITE: Clean and core apples, add to processor, puree until smooth and creamy Add other ingredients, pulse until combined Pour into containers, freeze or store in refrigerator for ten days!
