HAPPY NEW YEAR, Coach PCare and Orange Sultry Delight


Eeek, It’s been so long, so much has been taking place, between creating for others, participating in many champagne, spice, chocolate, tea and coffee tastings, rebuilding menus and lots of private cooking classes, I am happy to say I am back with consistency, recipes, thoughts, ideas, culture and love of food conversations and with guest contributors coming to Healing Food Culture, I am inspired, energized and ready! It’s GO SEASON!

So, I want to start this off right, check out this new recipe!

This recipe has been created in honor of a truly amazing woman, nutritionist, leader, motivational woman and sister business, Coach P Care!

In a comment Coach P shared, it sparked all these amazing thoughts in my mind and being about the amazing nourishing health properties and prevention that is to be had in the foods that have created this divine juice!

The beauty in orange whole foods brings to mind their liveliness being rich in beta carotene, metabolism support, blood sugar regulator, lycopene rich, immunity superstars Vitamins A, B6 and C filled, fueled with Fiber, Manganese, Niacin, Potassium, Calcium, Antioxidants, Selenium, Alpha Carotene and so much more, which we will get into in a moment.

Orange Sultry Delight

1 Large Sweet Potato

7 Carrots

½ Sweet Pumpkin

2 Navel Oranges

6 small Orange segments (garnish)

1 coconut, meat removed

½ tsp Cinnamon

Wash and chop all ingredients. Get your chilled glasses ready! Because coconut meat is quite juicy and runny, juice ingredients as follows:

Add 2 carrots to juicer, a piece or two of coconut meat, chunk of sweet potato, segments of orange, sweet pumpkin chunk, repeat until all is juiced. Remove container, stir to combine, add ¼ tsp cinnamon, stir again. Remove your chilled glasses from freezer, pour ¾ c juice, sprinkle cinnamon on top, add three segments of orange. Enjoy!
