Raw Breakfast: Blueberry Crisp

What’s better than popping a juicy fresh picked blueberry from the bush? A bowl of breakfast crisp that’s what! You can almost hear the sound of each Blueberry popping as you eat each one, its like hearing your favorite instrument play, like the sax or the trumpet during Madi Gras during breakfast hours. Taste this crisp and let your body move as it moves with the music of these delightful fruits, when you taste the last bite, savor the moment of a simply, refreshing, flavorful and joyfully filling breakfast!

Blueberries were called STARBERRIES by ancient South American tribes, relying on the stars for direction, believed THE GREAT SPIRIT brought these berries for healing, nourishment and for household purposes. A few of the ancient healing ways of the STARBERRY was known to reduce nausea, coughs, colds, headaches, blood purification, increases memory, improves your balance, reduces and in many cases has prevented urinary tract infections.

The variety of ways to enjoy blueberries is infinite, and ingredients that you can combine to make dishes for any time of the day or season are defined by our imaginations, which you could spend hours talking with your elders, friends and family about the favorite blueberry dish ever created and tasted. Blueberry Crisp vs Blueberry Bread Pudding, Pancake versus Waffle, Fresh versus frozen, smoothie versus juice, either way you, the savourer must sit back, taste, experience and enjoy every ounce of the blueberry that you are enjoying. While you do, please enjoy one of my favorite recipes… RAW VEGAN BLUEBERRY CRISP…MMM!
