What is gluten?
Gluten is a protein in wheat, barley, rye and other grains that are not gluten-free.
Did you know the autoimmune reaction to gluten flattens the villi in your body’s intestines, preventing nutrients from the foods you eat from absorbing in your body.
Why is the above information important? It may and should make you think about those bloating, constipation and uncomforting feeling that you feel when eating bread products, postage stamps, beauty products and some of the pharmaceutical medicines. Gluten also is hidden in these vegan prepackaged and processed foods like the imitation meats, butter, cheeses, creams, condiments, including spice mixtures and sauces that you purchase at local grocery stores.
The great thing is that with these recipes, tips and other pieces of information that I post here and that you find throughout the internet and in literature is that you can easily become gluten-free, which is why I decided to create a 7 day meal plan with recipes for you to try and ease into gluten-free yumminess with simplicity and fun trying new ingredients pairing.
